Last Monday was the fourth steady training ride of the year so far.

They have all been different but all been good.

It was a steady state 8-up with everyone riding for each other as it should be, the only thing that was missing, unlike a couple of weeks ago, was some new riders.

For those that don't know, we leave Broken Cross at 6:30PM and head down Pexhill neutralized to Siddington Cross Roads where we start a chain gang for the approximately 24 mile flat circuit back to Siddington. Returning back up Pexhill you can go up at your own pace or have a burn up depending how you feel. Yours truly tries to stay with the strong’un’s as long as possible, maybe as far as Dark Lane but I've not managed that so far this year 🥸. Twelve months ago Paul A was new to the ride and like myself among the also ran’s on Pexhill but on Monday he was first over the line 🏁 at Broken Cross. So that just shows, even if you've no particular wish to race up Pexhill,  if you want to improve your cycling, get out on the ride this Monday.
