Sunday Easy Ride along the Monsal trail

There were 5 of us out on today's easy ride.

Jim and John rode out from Wilmslow, via Broken Cross, and Paul R, Alicia and I drove up to the start at Wyedale car park. After a quick brew at Blackwell tuckshop we cycled at a sociable pace, with stops for photos and loos. Bakewell was busy and after some indecision we went for an Italian cafe with a good choice of food, including 7" pizzas. The trail was busy on the way back, but we were in no rush. Jim had a little too much gravel as we arrived back at Blackwell tuck shop as he skidded around a corner and onto the ground. No damage though thanks to his anti sun arm warmers and leg warmers! John and Jim accepted the offer of a lift back, so mileages were 43 for Jim and John, and 17ish for the rest of us.
