Easier Training Ride @ 10-2-7 on 28th November

Andy, Mark, Dave and Fred W met up at Broken X, enough for a decent ride.

We settled into some very good 4 up team time trail training. In fact it was so good I wondered what could go wrong. Then it did, well not really wrong but waiting to cross the A50 we were caught by the the 7-2-7 ride (never seen that on the calender😕) and although it was nice of them to join us they did disrupt our rhythm a bit especially as soon as we got across Fozzy started having a back light flaf.

By the time we got to Byley however, with Jim and Bennett also 7-2-7 er’s, seven of us were working in a good steady chain gang. It stayed like that most of the way back to Siddington with just a couple taking a break at the back. (no names mentioned, they’ve got there excuses😆). We recorded the quickest circuit yet of the new route, I’d like to think that’s because we are all riding better, it was probably as much that wind wise it was a good night and we were a pretty sensible and evenly matched group.

Bennett won KOM 🏆 dragging Mark and Fozzy all the way up to Broken X from the first ramp on Pexhill without a break. Well done Bennett and good riding everyone.
