Club Open 25 mile TT help needed!

Macc Wheelers Open 25 Time Trial Sat 10 July 2021 help needed

This is now almost upon us and I’m doing the last bits of organising.

I’ve had offers of help and marshalling but these have been in a variety of places so to help me could you please put your name on the comments below so I know who I can call on.

The first riders are off at 1400 and we have 51 entries (well down on usual for a number of reasons) so all riders will have finished by 1600.

HQ at Goostrey village hall opens at 1230 for sign on.

COVID restrictions mean that catering will be much more limited than usual. Although we can use the kitchen and toilets we can’t let people gather inside too much before and after the event. However, anyone willing to help by providing a cake, making tea/coffee providing squash/water to riders signing back in etc will be appreciated.

Other stuff required before the start will include putting up the gazebo and putting signage around the course.

Then marshals are needed at junctions on the course.

Additional comment: To run the event well we need about 20 volunteers. So far I have 8.
