Lark Ride to Tideswell (20 Oct 2018)

Beautiful hilly autumn ride in great cycling weather. We could have done without:

  • the busy A623 bit at mile 22 (did it lots of times on club runs with John but at a quieter time of day), and

  • the second off-road bit at mile 25 (we rode it).

We did do without:

  • the first off-road bit at mile 12 (we turned round).

I could not have done without:

  • the fabulous countryside in the autumn of the year

  • my fabulous companions in surely the summer of their cycling years (or spring in Mon’s case)

  • my vegan cheese on toast and baked beans and tea with soya milk at H&D Exotic Teas cafe in Tideswell.
