25 miles, easy pace, all welcome. Average speed 13-15 mph, less if hilly.
After our hilly extravaganza last week and with a slightly less idyllic weather forecast let’s go for the standard JAR route. This circumnavigates Macclesfield on quiet lanes with a couple of small climbs towards the end. It is the perfect route for newer or less confident cyclists and is never far from Macclesfield should an early finish avoiding hills be desired! : JAR Standard route CW.
This route is also a segment on Strava however this is a steady ride not an opportunity to chase cups and PBs!
Meet at the Cenotaph, Park Green, SK11 7NE. To avoid a group of over 6 meeting, faster riders go to the northern side of the Cenotaph and those looking for a steadier pace go to the southern side. We can then form into suitable small groups of less than 6.
