Local MTB rides for kids?

Who can suggest some good local off road routes for kids? A couple of times I have driven to LLandegla to take kids cycling (aged about 10) and thought this is crazy, with all that offroad stuff in my backyard. But I never seem to find anything between the Middlewood way (too dull) and macc forest (too steep).

we did the loop around Fernilee reservoir once and that was OK but too short.

so who can suggest a good local loop that is not too steep; about 5 miles; few if any roads; fun for kids?

It might be worth trying tatton Park.

There are some flat off road paths that John Bethell used about 15 years ago for TLI champs.

Other stuff that we do on Saturday is always hard.

There is a loop that you can do around white nancy/Kerridge Ridge but it may be too tough. Give me a call or see me at the Fermain and I' have a chat about it with you.
