Club runs are organised social rides, invariably with a café stop. We organise several club runs on a weekly basis, for a range of abilities. However, if you're looking for something faster than a club run, try a training ride.

Ladies only Club runs (Chelford Chicks)

Ladies only club runs are held on Saturday Mornings. The rides are usually 50-70 miles in duration with a cafe stop and run off at a steady sociable pace. The ride leaders and riders are ladies from many local clubs, so the rides are not restricted to Macclesfield Wheelers members. Wheelers contact:- Sue Rowson

Beginners, easy and other rides

Sunday easy rides take place every weekend, but destinations and start points are usually only announced one week in advance. The start point alternates between Wilmslow, Lindow common and Macclesfield, Broken Cross. For most Sunday easy rides starting from Broken Cross, a shorter option is also available by starting from Siddington crossroads.
Sunday easy rides are typically 25-40 miles long with a cafe stop halfway, at an average speed of around 13 mph. We occasionally do some longer rides, but for these, advance warning is given on this website about the length of the ride, and we make additional cafe stops. Thursday 'Just A Ride' is a 22 miles ride with a mixture of hills and flat. A chance to chat, and we wait for the slowest. Optional chat in the pub afterwards.
View previous Easy ride routes on our RideWithGPS page.
